Think of this LUT as a tweaked Rec709 base LUT created for Sony S-LOG 2 and S-LOG 3 Picture Profiles found in cameras such as the Sony A7s, A7r, A7riii, A6300 and Sony FS7. There are technical LUT’s that are used to convert between different television standards, perhaps from S-Log3 to Rec-709 as well as creative LUT’s that can be used to create an almost endless range of different visual looks and styles.
